Family- owned and operated since 1885, they import more European
pianos into the United States than any builder. Hannes M.
Schimmel - Vogel, currently in management, is within the lineage
leading back to Wilhelm Schimmel from Leipzig, Germany. An
additional factory is in Brunswick, Germany. In 1961 the helm
was given to Nikolaus Wilhelm Schimmel, grandson of the founder.
