Yamaha Baby Grand Piano Description
Product Description
Yamaha Baby Grand Piano
Yamaha baby grand piano in great condition in beautiful walnut satin finish with matching bench, this is a one owner piano with very little use, it has been tuned and maintained regularly and it looks and plays like a new one.
The distinctive sound of Yamaha pianos can be heard today in concert halls, recording and rehearsal studios, places of worship, and educational institutions of every level.
But this success was far from sudden; in fact, it’s been more than a hundred years in the making. Here’s a brief history that shows how one man’s dream to craft the world’s finest concert grand pianos became a reality, thanks to the efforts of a century’s worth of skilled craftsmen and musicians.
Yamaha Baby Grands are affordable pianos which can fit in small rooms and still you’ll have extra space. For example, you can have the GB1 baby grand which is just 150 cm long, for only $ 11,000.
Basically, it is a smaller version of a grand piano. While a concert grand piano can reach 9′ 0.3″ in length (275 cm) a baby grand piano is 5′ 0 – 5′ 6″(152-168cm) long. The first baby grand was built by Ernest Kaps in the 1860’s, although only in 1884 was it first patented by Hugo Sohmer, founder of Sohmer & Company.
This and all of our resale pianos go through a rigorous checklist including tuning, regulation, voicing and finish detail.
